The orchard, which was seen to the north of Beemster in 1974, has disappeared in 2017. In both the east and the south, we can that the farm on the Rijperweg has now been extended; the farmer grows garlic there. A large shed keeps the farm to the south out of sight. In the west, a large section of trees has grown significantly but another part was thinned out following the disappearance of the orchard.
